Hiking between mountains and lakes

Whether it’s a torchlight hike, moonlight bathing, herb gathering, rowing on the Schliersee, or a classic hiking tour into the surrounding mountains, be sure look forward to great adventures. Depending on the weather and on the mood of the group, we will decide where to go together.
After a particularly intense day we may also fire up the sauna and relax and recover.

Guided hike in the mountains of Schliersee

Explore the Schliersee mountains starting from the front porch or the free bus!
Nestled in hills and mountains, Neuhaus is located just 2 km from Schliersee and below the Spitzingsee ski area. The surrounding hiking area is well developed and signposted and many clear lakes invite for a swim.
The Spitzingsee is final destination for cars. From there, a forest road leads to the Valepp and on through the Austrian borderland to the Inn Valley. There are also two mountain railroads: Mini gondolas take you up to Taubenstein, and with less of a climb, you can reach Rotwand mountain, the highest peak in the Spitzingsee area at 1884 meters. On the opposite side of the lake, the Stümpflingbahn runs and ends a little below the Roßkopf. From here, you can take mountain carts back down to the valley. All this is also possible and wonderful on foot.
Apart from our planned excursions, everyone can of course explore the surroundings and enjoy nature on their own responsibility.
